Why is Emiratization important in UAE?

Emiratization is an important part of the UAE national agenda since the government is looking to build a competitive economy where every member of the country can unlock its potential and can have a great quality of life. According to the rules of the Emiratization program, from January 2023 at least 2% of a private company's workforce must be Emirati if they employ more than 50 members of staff. Separate employment quotas for banks and insurance firms are already in place, and currently stand at 4% and 5% respectively.

The program provides UAE citizens specialized in fields such as Data Analyst, Customer Service Agent, Accountants and other job titles with a top-up on their existing salaries.
